About Cloud Mindfulness
I started Cloud Mindfulness after realizing how deeply my own practice has benefitted me. As you can read in most pro-mindfulness articles, I do have less anxiety--it has helped me manage my stress and regulate my emotions. More than anything, though, mindfulness has significantly decreased the amount of denial I experience, and this has made my life exponentially more fulfilling and enjoyable. We cannot avoid suffering, but we can become better at coping with it. Once we step out of denial and into acceptance, most of us discover the motivation to act and change our lives in remarkable ways.

As a mindfulness teacher, I can bring awareness to your relationship to the present moment and how you receive it. Through private coaching, I can help you see your life for what it is and accept it this way (which, again, tends to trigger and fuel positive change). I can teach you to direct your attention to where you want it in your day-to-day life. In group classes, workshops, and guided meditations, I can help you find a sense of belonging as you continue to strengthen your mindfulness practice alongside others, learning from each other and benefiting from the support we provide and receive. You can begin a new mindfulness practice with me or deepen an established one.

I can also bring some of these benefits to your community, by engaging in a visiting workshop for businesses, classrooms, yoga studios, wellness centers, and other places people gather to learn and collaborate.

My services are available in person in Orange County, CA and the surrounding area and online everywhere else.
I began teaching as a college writing professor almost fifteen years ago and have moved into creating Cloud Mindfulness where I can teach through my truest values. Guiding students as they discover their personal voices and styles as creative, mindful human beings brings me joy and fulfillment. Thich Nhat Hanh writes, "The way you support yourself can be an expression of your deepest self...Our vocation can nourish our understanding and compassion." This is what I am here to achieve, and I'd love for you to join me.
